This boutique, located on Sydney’s Castlereagh Street, is Van Cleef & Arpels’ largest in Australia and features a unique space intended to exhibit historical pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels’ private collection.
The store draws inspiration from art deco and oriental design elements and houses a variety of the Maison’s most iconic pieces, such as the Alhambra and Perlée collections.
Gray Puksand provided local architectural and documentation services to adapt the French design to Australian code requirements and integrate specific security requirements into the façade, new glazed awning structure and front of house areas.
The project also involved the sophisticated coordination of prefabricated decorative panels, furniture and showcases manufactured overseas.
In additional to the boutique, this project comprised of coordinating the back of house areas including administration office and staff rooms located in the basement level and the first level accordingly.
