At the core of Ian’s values is a holistic approach to architecture. His strengths are developing designs and managing teams for major projects and submissions. Through his career he has strived to integrate conceptual and technical as early as possible in the process of architecture. He also maintains an attitude of being open to learning new skills and new ideas.
One of his passions is mentoring and helping others around him to further develop their skills and discover their professional passions. The greatest satisfaction he receives from architecture is working successfully, interactively and directly with Clients. He has the ability to learn very quickly and get to the key principles and aspects of a project type or project.
Ian is also an all-rounder, possessing strong design/ urban design skills, technical and construction knowledge and the ability to bring these aspect into a project early to strengthen design intent, delivery efficiency and the project outcome.
