As Gray Puksand continues to grow its national presence, Nik Tabain has been appointed as the new National Managing Partner, following his key contribution to the company’s success in his previous roles as National Commercial Sector Leader and Lead Partner of the Melbourne studio.
Bringing more than 30 years of architecture experience to the position, Nik will oversee the management and operations of our four national studios, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Nik specialises in commercial office design, leading the delivery of notable projects across Victoria including Botanicca 3, numerous buildings at Nexus Corporate Park, 2 Ferntree Place, 631 Springvale Road, and currently 525 Church Street and 16 Gheringhap Street in Geelong.
“I’m proud to be leading the management of Gray Puksand as we continue our rapid national growth. We are committed to offering our clients innovative and dynamic design solutions guided by experience-led design and sustainability principles.
“I look forward to working with the exceptional teams across our four national studios to deliver excellence at every opportunity,” said Nik.
Nik’s esteemed ability to execute sophisticated projects, alongside his expert relationship-building skills and extensive leadership experience provide a natural transition into his new role as National Managing Partner.
Our Founding Partner Robert Puksand praised Nik’s unwavering commitment to Gray Puksand’s core values when announcing the promotion.
“Nik has an impeccable understanding of business acumen, has forged strong relationships with clients, but most importantly embodies our People First value by truly caring for our staff and their future development,” said Robert.
Nik has taken over the position of National Managing Partner from Stephen Turner, who performed the job for the past 15 months.
Throughout his time in the role, Stephen oversaw the establishment of an updated company governance structure and the strategic growth of the Canberra office.
“The board thanks Stephen for his commitment and dedication to the role and the astonishing work that has been achieved under his leadership,” said Robert.
Stephen will transition into a Partner role at Gray Puksand in early 2024.
