Hunter Street Private Hospital is located on a prominent corner site in Parramatta, where Hunter and Marsden Streets meet,
to the immediate west of the Parramatta Square Precinct and St John’s Anglican Cathedral.
The proposed 20-storey tower will accommodate the 120-bed hospital including day procedures unit, maternity unit and perioperative suite.
Gray Puksand’s design creates a refined architectural addition to the region’s evolving skyline, while supporting a pedestrian-focused urban realm with a new forecourt at the hospital’s Hunter Street entry.
The tower’s strongly vertical expression is highlighted by glazing fins that visually unify the structure, and internally and provide solar control to facades.
